Review: Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Sheet Mask

I am a big Tatcha fan so when I saw they recently released a sheet mask version of their popular luminous dewy skin mist, I ordered one right away.

The mask retails for $12 for one or $45 for four, so it’s pricey for a sheet mask, but Tatcha is an expensive brand. There was a considerable amount of milky white essence inside the mask. It was enough for three additional applications.

The texture of the sheet mask was soft, more cloth-like than most sheet masks I’ve used. The fit was only okay. The mask slipped down my face a little bit. I think the cloth-like texture made it less able to cling to my skin. That said, I kept it on while I blow-dried my hair and it didn’t fall off my face or anything.

Everyone looks like a serial killer with a sheet mask on, right? 😉

The mask felt nice while I was wearing it (for about 15 minutes) but I honestly can’t say I felt luminous afterwards. It’s hard to impress me with sheet masks and this one didn’t, especially for the price. That said, I’m also skeptical about the luminous dewy skin mist, which lots of people love. If you love the mist, it’s worth trying the mask. Otherwise, I would say, skip it. If you want to splurge on Tatcha, there are lots of better products to choose.

I hope this was helpful if you’ve been considering picking up the mask. If you’ve already tried it, what did you think?
